If you have a health insurance plan that we do not participate in you should expect to pay at the time of your visit. We will provide you with a receipt to forward to your insurance company so that they can reimburse you. We will be glad to help with any questions you have about filing your claims, but the responsibility for doing so remains with the patient.

Prescriptions and Renewals

Some prescriptions can be renewed by phone or EScript. When you call please have your pharmacy’s address and phone number handy. For most new prescriptions, you will be asked to come in for an exam.

Please be aware that refilling a prescription requires reviewing your chart by the physician to see if a renewal is appropriate and if the dosage needs to be changed or monitored. We therefore ask that you anticipate a 24 hour turn-around time on renewals.

Renewals are not given for antibiotics. The overuse of these medications can lead to serious health care problems, and they are prescribed only when a bacterial infection is diagnosed by an examination.
